REWIRE — Lead Sessions. Change Lives.

For certified therapists

Help the people
who help everyone else.

REWIRE is a structured group programme that gives medical professionals the emotional tools they urgently need — and we're looking for therapists to lead it.

Doctors, nurses, and clinicians carry the weight of everyone else's worst days. Their own rarely get the same care.

Medical professionals are trained to fix. To diagnose. To hold steady in crisis. But no one trains them to come home from a twelve-hour shift, decompress from what they witnessed, and still be fully present for their partner or child.

The emotional cost is real. Burnout, compassion fatigue, emotional numbing, strained marriages, and fractured friendships are not edge cases in healthcare — they are the norm.

REWIRE exists to change that. Not with a hotline, not with a one-off workshop — but with a serious, therapist-led programme that builds lasting emotional regulation and boundary-setting skills over twelve weeks.

REWIRE is a 12-week group programme built specifically for medical professionals — not a wellness app, not a seminar.

Every cohort is small — a maximum of eight people. Every session is live, one hour per week, conducted over video call and led by a single certified therapist. That's you.

Participants aren't patients. They're doctors, nurses, surgeons, and paramedics who are functioning highly at work and struggling privately. They need skills, not diagnoses. Structure, not sympathy. And they need a practitioner who understands the context they operate in.

Your role is to guide the cohort covering emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and relationship repair — in a safe, confidential, professionally run space.

01
Small cohorts, real depth
8 participants maximum. Intimate enough for genuine work. Structured enough for consistent progress.
02
One hour per week
Live video sessions, fully flexible scheduling. Minimal admin. Maximum clinical value.
03
Structured curriculum
A clear 12-week arc. Evidence-informed, continuously refined.
04
Underserved population
Medical professionals rarely seek help. REWIRE gives them a professional, stigma-free route in.

A simple structure. Serious impact.

1

You receive your cohort

REWIRE handles all recruitment and intake. You're matched with a cohort of up to 8 medical professionals at the start of each 12-week cycle.

2

One session per week

Lead a structured one-hour video session. Each session builds on the last.

3

You bring the clinical expertise

Your role is to hold the space, guide exercises, and help participants process what emerges.

What you'll do — and what you'll never have to.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead live, 60-minute group sessions for one or multiple cohorts
  • Facilitate group discussion and hold a safe, professional container
  • Provide brief session notes after each call (template provided)
  • Join a monthly peer-review call with the REWIRE team

What REWIRE handles

  • All participant recruitment, screening, and intake
  • Payment processing, scheduling, and platform logistics
  • Technical support, session recordings, and admin
  • Marketing, brand, and all external communications

You'd be a strong fit if any of these resonate.

You want meaningful clinical work

Not intake sessions or admin. REWIRE gives you structured, high-impact group work with a population that rarely gets real support.

You understand the medical world

Whether from experience or specialised training, you know how healthcare shapes a person's psychology — and you know how to meet them where they are.

You value group dynamics

You believe people heal in community. You can hold a group, redirect difficult moments, and create space for genuine connection.

You want flexibility

Run alongside your existing practice, or build REWIRE into a larger part of your work over time (up to 20 hours/week).

You're certified and ready

You hold a recognised therapy qualification and clinical registration. REWIRE will conduct a thorough onboarding before you lead your first session.

You want to be part of something bigger

REWIRE is building a movement that normalises mental health support for people who hold up our healthcare system. You'd be on the front line of that.

Your questions, answered.

How many hours per week does this require?+
Session hours vary depending on active cohort demand — you may lead anywhere from a single 60-minute session to up to 20 hours of sessions per week. You set your availability and we match cohorts to your capacity.
Do I need experience with medical professionals specifically?+
It helps, but it isn't required. What matters most is competence in group facilitation and emotional regulation-focused therapy.
Is this therapy or coaching?+
REWIRE sits in the space between psychoeducation and structured group therapy. Sessions are skills-based and facilitated by a qualified therapist, but participants are not presenting as patients with clinical diagnoses.
What platform are sessions held on?+
Sessions are conducted via video call. All technical setup, links, and recordings are managed by REWIRE. You just show up.
How am I compensated?+
Facilitators are paid per cohort completed. Full compensation details are discussed during your application interview. There are no hidden conditions or unpaid obligations.
What qualifications do I need?+
You must hold a Level 4 diploma in counselling or a degree in psychology / counselling / psychotherapy and be registered with a national regulatory body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, or equivalent). Clinical experience in group work or CBT/DBT-informed approaches is preferred.
